Group Discussion (GD)

A GD is a methodology used by an organization to gauge whether the candidate has certain personality traits and/or skills that it desires in its members. In this methodology, the group of candidates is given a topic or a situation, given a few minutes to think about the same, and then asked to discuss it among themselves for 15-20 minutes.

The way individual speaks and interacts with other group members plays a vital role in GD. This has a powerful impact on the way our words are percieved by others. So everyone has to take care the way they speak during GD. The message to be conveyed should be clear and concise and has to be interactive and within the scope of the discussion. It should not be out of the topic and lead to something else. One should not repeat the same point on and on and one has to rise intelligent points which let others think about it.

This section provides all the tips and experiences of GD. Try this in every group you are interacting with. This will help in leading the group and also participating in the group which is very essential professionally.
